As a floral designer, it's always nice to have complete creative freedom in a design space. Weddings require a lot of direction from the couple and their opinion is always taken into account and ultimately have final say in what you are creating. On this day I got to take the reins and make something light, airy, and modern, which is an aesthetic that always draws me in.
I started with the large ceremony feature, using some gorgeous extra large hydrangea heads from EverJoy Flower Farm. They also provided greenery and and some extra fillers. The hydrangea gave a cloud like appearance with the arrangement having one fluid movement throughout. The color pallette was simple, with loads of neutrals and subtle pops of pink.
A new trend that I have been loving every minute of has been tables loaded with small arrangements and bud vases overflowing the middle of the table. I think it brings a feeling of abundance without the worry of taking up too much space and guests not being able to see each other. Small "free-standing" arrangements bring some height to the table without being overbearing and in your face...literally.
The bouquet was kept simple to compliment the dress with an abundance of greenery with large white roses and dainty fillers. The shape reminded me of a willow tree with its natural curve downwards.
I couldnt have done any of this without all the amazing vendors involved"
